Engineering Built on Collaboration and Trust

Good engineering starts with understanding people, not just technology.

At INBROLLY, we believe that successful product development is built on close cooperation, clear communication and a shared understanding of project goals. We work directly with our customers, listen to their needs and involve them in important technical decisions throughout the development process.

We do not believe in unnecessary complexity, rigid procedures or communication barriers. Instead, we focus on practical solutions, transparent cooperation and clear responsibilities.

Whether you come to us with an initial idea, a partially developed product or a specific engineering challenge, we adapt our approach to your needs.

Our goal is simple: to make complex engineering projects understandable, manageable and successful.

Working Together

Direct Communication. Shared Decisions. Clear Responsibilities.

We believe that the best results come from working as one team.

You communicate directly with the engineers involved in your project, ensuring that technical questions are addressed by people who understand the details. We encourage open discussions, exchange of ideas and constructive feedback.

We value your knowledge of the product, its intended application and your business requirements. We contribute our engineering experience to turn those requirements into practical technical solutions.

Important decisions are discussed together. We explain technical alternatives, their advantages, limitations and potential consequences, helping you make informed decisions.

Throughout the project, we aim to maintain:

  • Direct communication – No unnecessary intermediaries between you and the engineering team.

  • Transparency – Clear information about progress, challenges and potential risks.

  • Shared understanding – Technical decisions are discussed and agreed upon, not simply imposed.

  • Flexibility – We adapt to changing requirements and the actual needs of your project.

  • Accountability – Responsibilities, agreed actions and project outputs are clearly defined.

A Structured but Flexible Process

Every project is different. The development process depends on its complexity, initial state and the level of involvement required from both sides.

We use a structured approach to ensure that important information, decisions and results are not lost along the way. At the same time, we remain flexible enough to accommodate new ideas, technical discoveries and changing priorities.

01. Understanding Your Needs

First, we listen and understand.

Every cooperation starts with a conversation. We want to understand what you are trying to achieve, why the product is needed and what challenges you are facing.

We discuss the intended application, functional expectations, technical constraints, available resources and project objectives. You do not need to have a complete technical specification or know exactly how the solution should work. Defining the right approach can be part of our cooperation.

We also identify uncertainties, assumptions and areas that require further investigation.

Documentation & Outcomes

At this stage, we establish a common understanding of the project:

  • Initial project description and objectives.

  • Preliminary functional and technical requirements.

  • Identified constraints, assumptions and open questions.

  • Initial project scope and expectations.

  • Summary of discussions and agreed next steps.

The purpose is to ensure that both sides understand what is expected before committing to a particular technical solution.

02. Exploring Solutions & Making Decisions

Finding the right approach together.

Once we understand the requirements, we explore possible solutions and evaluate their technical and practical implications.

We discuss different approaches, component selection, system architecture and potential implementation risks. Rather than presenting only one solution, we explain relevant alternatives and help you understand their impact on performance, complexity, cost, development time and future maintenance.

Together, we agree on the preferred direction and define what needs to be developed.

Documentation & Outcomes

The selected approach is documented to establish a clear technical foundation:

  • System architecture and functional block diagrams.

  • Preliminary component and technology selection.

  • Technical feasibility assessment.

  • Comparison of relevant alternatives and trade-offs.

  • Identified technical risks and dependencies.

  • Agreed project scope, priorities and development milestones.

Key decisions and their rationale are recorded so that the reasoning behind the chosen solution remains clear throughout the project.

03. Design & Development

Turning decisions into working designs.

With the overall direction agreed, we begin the engineering work.

Depending on the project, this may include electronic circuit design, PCB layout, embedded firmware, FPGA development, mechanical design or integration of existing components.

We maintain regular communication and share progress as the work develops. When a new technical challenge arises or an important design decision needs to be reconsidered, we discuss it with you before proceeding.

We understand that development is an iterative process. New findings may lead to improvements, alternative solutions or changes in priorities.

Documentation & Outcomes

Design activities and technical decisions are documented as the project progresses:

  • Electronic schematics and PCB design files.

  • Hardware and software architecture.

  • Mechanical designs and 3D models, where applicable.

  • Bill of Materials (BOM) and component specifications.

  • Interface definitions and integration requirements.

  • Design reviews and revision history.

  • Record of important technical decisions and approved changes.

The documentation provides traceability between the original requirements, selected solutions and resulting implementation.

04. Prototyping, Testing & Refinement

Learning from real hardware and improving the solution.

A working prototype is an important milestone. It allows us to verify design assumptions and evaluate the product under realistic conditions.

We assemble and integrate the relevant components, bring up the hardware and verify the interaction between hardware and software.

Testing often reveals details that cannot be fully anticipated during the design phase. We treat these findings as a natural part of engineering and use them to improve the product.

We discuss test results with you, explain identified issues and agree on necessary modifications and priorities.

Documentation & Outcomes

Testing and refinement are supported by documented results:

  • Prototype configuration and hardware revision.

  • Test plans and functional test results.

  • Measurement data and relevant observations.

  • Identified issues, limitations and proposed improvements.

  • Agreed corrective actions and design changes.

  • Updated schematics, PCB layouts and software revisions.

This ensures that modifications are traceable and that the current state of the design is clearly understood.

05. Completion & Handover

A clear result and a solid foundation for the future.

When the agreed development objectives have been achieved, we prepare the final deliverables and review the completed work together.

We make sure that the relevant design files, software, technical documentation and project information are organized and available for further use.

Depending on the project, the result may be a validated prototype, a completed electronic design or a comprehensive engineering package ready for manufacturing preparation.

We also discuss any remaining limitations, recommendations and possible next steps.

Documentation & Outcomes

The final handover may include:

  • Complete electronic design files and manufacturing data.

  • Final schematics, PCB layouts and component lists.

  • Firmware and software source code, as agreed.

  • Mechanical CAD models and technical drawings.

  • Test reports and verification results.

  • Final design revisions and technical decision records.

  • Manufacturing and assembly documentation.

  • Known limitations and recommendations for further development.

Our aim is to ensure that the results of our work remain understandable, maintainable and usable beyond the development project itself.

Documentation Is Part of the Engineering Process

Not Just Files, but the Knowledge Behind the Design.

We consider documentation an integral part of engineering, not an administrative task performed at the end of a project.

Technical files describe what has been designed. Good project documentation also explains why particular solutions were selected, which alternatives were considered and what limitations or assumptions were accepted.

Throughout the project, we maintain relevant information about:

Requirements & Specifications

What the product needs to do, under which conditions and with what technical constraints.

Technical Decisions

What solutions were selected, why they were chosen and what alternatives or trade-offs were considered.

Design Changes

What has changed during development, why the change was necessary and which design revision contains the modification.

Reviews & Approvals

What was reviewed, what was agreed upon and which issues remain open.

Test Results

What has been verified, how it was tested and what the results demonstrate.

Deliverables & Revisions

What has been delivered, in which version and what the current project status is.

The level of documentation is adapted to the size, complexity and requirements of each project. Our objective is to maintain the right balance between sufficient technical detail and practical efficiency.

This approach helps prevent misunderstandings, supports future modifications and makes it easier for other engineers or manufacturing partners to continue working with the product.

Flexible Ways to Work Together

The Right Level of Involvement for Your Project.

We understand that not every customer needs the same type of engineering support.

Some projects require a complete development partner, while others need additional expertise in a specific technical area. We can adapt our involvement accordingly.
