The DYNABANK power bank for cycling, rechargeable from a hub dynamo, is now also available in a 5,000 mAh version called DYNABANK 5, which is smaller in size and lighter in weight than the original DYNABANK 10 version with a 10,000 mAh capacity.
It is advantageous for applications where there is no need to charge multiple devices or is used to charge devices with lower power consumption such as Garmin navigation or sports watches. It is also suitable for charging mobile phones when permanently connected. Although the DYNABANK does not have a function where the power bank and mobile phone are charged at the same time, it has a function where if the power bank stops charging, the mobile phone is automatically recharged. It acts as a buffer. Experience shows that it is equally effective, as small stops for refreshments are enough to keep the mobile phone battery almost fully charged.
